HILDA BACI SETS A NEW RECORD FOR A LONGEST COOKING SESSION.

The longest cooking time record has been beaten by Nigerian chef Hilda Baci.

On Monday, Hilda shattered the previous mark of 87 hours, 45 minutes, and 0 seconds set by Chef Lata Tondon in Rewa, India, in 2019.

According to The Nation, Hilda officially opened the contest on May 11 at 4 p.m.

Numerous Nigerians braved the rain to attend the event, which was held in Amore Gardens in Lekki, Lagos, to support the chef.

Many celebrities attended the event, including the actor Charles Okocha, the actress Kate Henshaw, the musician Tiwa Savage, the media personality Enioluwa, and others.

To encourage Baci, Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu also paid a visit to the location on Sunday.
As the first-ever winner of the "Jollof Faceoff" tournament in August 2021, Baci is no stranger to setting records.

In response to the question of why she started the most recent project, Baci stated that it is one of her main goals and that it is also an opportunity to share some uplifting stories from Africa through the food that we eat.
