THE RIGHT PHRASES TO USE TO NEGOTIATE A HIGHER STARTING SALARY

You succeeded in passing the interviews. They ultimately extend the offer while you are enthusiastic about the job. You are tempted to take it straight away, but you consider trying to negotiate instead.

You should do your hardest to earn the best starting pay you can, and you can do it with only one line. Thank the individual who made the wage offer and reiterate your qualifications for the position as soon as you receive it. After that, pause and ask, "Is there any flexibility?"

Stop speaking after that.

When we are anxious, we could talk incessantly and say things that will hurt our cause. You might say something like, "Of course, I adore the job, and I'll take it no matter what the compensation is," if you don't restrain yourself.

Even though it could be awkward, just wait for the other person to speak. Hold off. A recruiter's response can be that they are unsure if you are speaking with them. All you have to say in response if they say that is, "Would you kindly check and get back to me?"

Keep a cheerful attitude and express your excitement, but wait to agree until they let you know if the compensation is negotiable. Utilize your greatest salary leverage before beginning a job.
