When a thin, flat brush and kohl pencil are combined, amazing things happen! Kohl pencils are meant to be smeared and blended, especially when combined with a smokey eye. And using a brush is my preferred method for doing it. Just draw the outer half of the upper lash line with the brush, then "pull" the line inward and outward. It's truly lovely! This is the method:
- My go-to pencil in my kit is a Kohl pencil; it's blend-able and long-lasting, but I also use it frequently.
- A Thin Flat Brush: I really enjoy using this intricate lip brush in addition to the tiny contour brush I used.
- Your Go-To Mascara: I used Krysten Ritter's old favorite, but I'm also totally digging this discovery right now!
- An all-time favorite is this Grey Smoky Shadow Palette. I used it on Corinne in Rock Chick.
